Our Handchime Choir

"Sing for joy in the LORD, O you righteous ones; praise is becoming to the upright.
Give thanks to the LORD with the lyre; sing praises to Him with a harp of ten strings.
Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with a shout of joy."
Psalm 33: 1-3
Our hand-chime choir has enjoyed a fun year of learning music and playing preludes for worship. We played at the Christmas program in December, 2012, and three times during worship this spring. We will take a break for the summer, but return in the fall for another year of beautiful music!

The Green Bay Picnic

The big picnic at Green Bay was lots of fun this year. Our church members are always invited each May to bring a covered dish and share in the festivities. The sun didn't come out much, but thankfully the rain held off. Barbecue and fried chicken and all the trimmings were served under the tent.
At least two people and one dog arrived by boat!
Adam prayed for our meal and then we all dove into the dishes. The tables were groaning from the weight.
Two of the girls from church posed for a quick photo.
And three kids from church took a dinghy out on the choppy water.
They took turns rowing.
Many thanks to the folks at Green Bay for hosting this event and giving us all a chance to fellowship together. It was a great day!

Resurrection Day!

"He is not here, for He is risen, just as He said!"
"Come, see the place where the Lord lay."
~Matt. 28:6

On this Resurrection Day, may God fill your heart with joy that we have a Savior who conquered death and lives in heaven for us.
Each new sunrise is a reminder of resurrection, of hope for eternity, of God's sacrificial love for us.

Pamlico Presbyterian Church welcomes you! Spring is arriving in our area, and the pear trees are in bloom.

"The heavens are telling the glory of God; the firmament proclaims His handiwork!" Ps. 19:1
"The ordinances of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yes, than much fine gold, sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb." Ps. 19: 9,10

The LORD's lovingkindnesses indeed never cease,
For His compassions never fail.
They are new every morning.
Great is Your faithfulness."

A Happy Birthday Event!

On Sunday we enjoyed a great celebration of life for one of our church members.
Miss Cricket is one of the founding members of our church, a lady who loves to tell everyone what the Lord has done to bring our church into existence, and how He's blessed us.
She's a blessing to us too!
May God give you many more years of loving service.
