 Pastor Adam is periodically posting some Bible lessons on his Youtube channel ("Adam Christiansen" on Youtube). He's beginning with this interesting and exciting lesson from Matthew 4, "The Temptations of Jesus." Would it have been a sin for Jesus to turn stones into bread? Of Our Lord Jesus, the Prophet Spoke:

"He is despised and rejected of men,
 a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief,
 and we hid as it were our faces from him;
 he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows,
 yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities;
 the chastisement of our peace was upon him,
 and with his stripes we are healed."

Advent Begins

This Sunday begins the season of Advent when we anticipate the birth of the promised Savior, Jesus. Church members place poinsettias in the church each year during December in memory or honor of loved ones, or in honor of the Lord.

Our Lessons and Carols Service will be on Sunday, December 20th, at 6:00 p.m. We ask that you wear a mask while inside our building, and maintain social distancing. We hope you'll join us!
